By now we’ve all seen the announcement, we will be locking down again until the start of December. No matter your opinion on this move, it will clearly impact us all.
For a small business like OnlyWillow it’s a very worrying time. Christmas shopping and sales made in November and December are what keep most retail businesses afloat throughout the quieter months.
As consumers, we can’t afford to wait until December to cram in all our shopping last minute either. It would be irresponsible and made more difficult with strict social distancing measures in place.
These next couple of weeks could prove vital in preparing for Christmas we can celebrate and saving small businesses.
So, what can you do to help?
Money is tight for everyone, we get that. Supporting a small business online through social media though, is completely free.
It just takes a few thumb presses to boost our profile and this makes a huge difference. Increasing our interactions and engagement widens our viewer profile and reaches more people. Liking, sharing and commenting on our posts and stories not only lifts our spirits in these dark times but can genuinely make a difference.
If you do have the budget for it, we have a wide selection of amazing products at a range of prices to suit you. We are still available online as always, and still have order slots available. you can contact through any of our social media outlets and here at our website. If there is something you want but can’t find, just ask.
We encourage you to seek out crafters and artisan makers this year when you consider your Christmas gifting. Small businesses aren’t getting the same support as big businesses are during the pandemic.
It’s not all doom and gloom, we have lots planned over the next few weeks, which will still go ahead. Watch this space.
Congratulations to @marthamayza who won our last giveaway of the You Got This pendant necklace! We have another competition to launch coming soon…
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your continued support. OnlyWillow is a dream come true that we hope we will never wake up from. We are being tested this year, but strength comes from adversity and we will fight to survive this and come out stronger on the other side.
Stay Safe and Shop Small and Local where you can.
